Some 70 members, family and friends celebrated a wonderful Awards night at St Matt’s Hall on Wednesday 5th August. Congratulations to all our worthy winners. Our Guest Speaker was Cressida O’Hanlon MP for Dunstan, who gave us a totally wondrous insight in to her childhood and life as the granddaughter of the famous artist David Boyd, and all her other famous artistic relatives and their friends (Arthur Boyd, Sidney Nolan, John Perceval, Lucinda Boyd, Brett Whitely to name a few!!). We were enthralled. We also had a lovely display of members works to provide an “exhibition atmosphere”, our usual plentiful supper spread, and lots of camaraderie. It was a great night.
