This is a 6 week course, running on Wednesday evenings.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Since 2010 I’ve been building up my art business, painting commissioned paintings, Illustrating covers for books, exhibiting in galleries, selling paintings and products on-line and teaching workshops and tutorials in schools and art studios. I also mentor for year 11 and 12 students who are interested in pursuing the fine arts as a career, write a regular art blog,  have been a finalist in many art prizes and have won several awards for my work.  I practice a variety of styles in different mediums, acrylic and oil paint, mixed media, collage work, drawing, large scale mural work and journaling.  Art is what I love to do.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

COURSE OUTLINE: Paint your pet or another animal of choice over the course of 6 weeks. During this course we will work with composition, colour mixing and a variety of acrylic painting techniques that will enable you to create an exciting, contemporary masterpiece while developing your own unique style.

COURSE MATERIALS

Drawing materials, sketchbook or art Journal, acrylic paint kit, white Gesso, paint brushes, white chalk or conte. Canvas or art board of choice for the finished painting.
