Lisa Ingerson – Portrait Painting (Oils or Acrylics): W5 with Lisa Ingerson
A four week course with Lisa Ingerson, using oils or acrylics, pallet knife and small brushes.
Following a very popular class with Lisa last year, as requested, you will be undertaking a larger canvas this time, 40cmsx50 cms or
larger. Lisa will again lead you on the path to a portrait of a subject you choose. (newcomers are very welcome).
The class is at St Matts Hall , 9/8/23-30/8/23, 7pm – 9.30pm.
Payment is $90 for members and $135 for non members. Payment requested before 1/8/23 to BPG , BSB 105073 Acc. 286130240.

Materials
Pallet knives, inc. size 3 and small brushes
Basic oils or acrylics (white, ultramarine,phathlo blue,orange,yellow, red, burnt umber)
A canvas 40×50 cms or larger, already with undercoat.
Willow charcoal to draw up on lesson one and then moving on to the
canvas.
Rags and solvent, clips or tape.

CLASS REPORTS
Twelve of us , mostly not familiar with pallet knife painting, set out to do a portrait of someone we wanted to honour . This was achieved! At the end of the 4 weeks, we had 12 tender and unique portraits, mostly still not finished but we were very pleased with our work. Lisa again tutored us calmly and wisely and will be back next year to give us the opportunity to have another adventure with the pallet knife.
