This is a 6 week course, runninng on Wednesday evenings.

This 6-week acrylic painting course explores an expressive, impressionistic approach to portraying people, pets, or people and their pets together.
Suitable for beginners and experienced painters, the course emphasises loose brushwork, expressive colour, subtle tonal shifts, soft edges, light and shadow, capturing evocative characters and emotion rather than detailed realism.

**What to bring:**
–  Acrylic paint kit (brushes, paints, palette, water container, rags)
 A medium-sized painting surface (e.g., stretched canvas or primed
board)
 art journal or sketchbook
– 2–3 good-quality A4 photocopy printouts of reference photos (your own images of people and/or pets, or use one of mine provided in class). Participants are encouraged to bring reference photos of subjects meaningful to them.
