Alan Ramachandran – Watercolour – Intermediate Techniques with Alan Ramachandran
Alan is a multi-award winner in his medium of watercolour.
Since migrating to Adelaide in 2007 he has won about 15 top awards and 60 combined awards. He has had 5 solo exhibitions and 4 group exhibitions. Being a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize was a highlight in 2002 and a finalist in the Pro Hart Landscape Art Prize 2017, Fleurieu Art Prize and Adelaide Hills Landscape Art Prize 2017.
Presently he conducts watercolour classes, workshops for art societies and art demonstrations at Rotary Art Shows, and Art Societies. Alan likes the free flow of the watercolour medium as he lays the washes onto the paper to create an atmospheric mood in the painting.
