Hi everyone,

We are hoping to see as many of our 112 members as possible at our birthday celebrations next week on the 18th October, starting at 7 p.m.   You and your guest are very welcome.

Your committee has worked very hard to ensure your comfort and enjoyment at the function.

      There will be plenty of tables and chairs for you and your friends. If you are on your own, let me know and you can join my table. I am on my own as well!

      Our musician, Louise, will play easy listening music, featuring old favourites from the sixties. The music won’t be too loud. (Louise has foregone her father’s 80^th birthday to play for us and will play for her father and his friends on the following night. Louise has also given us a discount on her fee because we are a non-profit group. I think you will enjoy meeting her.)

      Our Patron, Vicki Chapman, will be joining us.

      Maureen Pope, a longstanding member, will run through some of our history and we have a few surprises in store for you.

      One of our oldest members, Merawyn Harris, will cut our 60^th birthday cake. We have a gluten and dairy free cake available too.

      Some of our members’ art work will be on display on the walls and there will be some history displays for you to view.

      We have a wide range of drinks available for you and your first drink is complimentary. Choose from beer, wine, champagne, cocktails, soft drinks, juice and water.

      We have a door prize for one lucky person, which is a selection of the greeting cards that we have had printed, using the images of prize winning work from our recent SALA exhibition.
